My first stethoscope! I love the colour!

This is my very first stethoscope! I wanted to post this picture earlier but laziness took over me for the past few days. Well, better late than never! Hehe.. I bought it from a bookstore in my campus and it cost me Rp 447 000, which is about RM 160 according to the current exchange rate (RM 1 = Rp 2800). I never knew that stethoscopes can come in various colours! All this while, I’ve only seen black which the doctors usually use. Other colours available include green, orange, maroon, grey, etc.. Even pink is also available! Yes, pink!!

I just can’t believe that I’m going to be a doctor someday. Lol~ Better be a good one then. Anyway, my parents are coming over right here in Jakarta this Friday (1st Feb)!!! I seriously can’t wait even though it has only been just one week since I left Malaysia. I feel so lonely right now. My darling is currently in Malaysia, enjoying his 3 weeks of bliss.. Ok! I should stop now before I get all emotional.

I’m back in Jakarta last Sunday and started new module, Cardiovascular System on the next day. I’m still not prepared to face with the studying and exams.. In fact, my mind is still in holidays mode. Wake up Mira! Wake up! I shouldn’t slack so much this time like I did during the last module. But hey, you can’t force yourself doing something that you’re not prepared with. But I guess, this one is a totally different situation. It’s either I want a good or bad grade. That’s the only choice I can have. SO, I shouldn’t be playing around till the last minute or otherwise, I will drown deep down and by that time, no one can help me.

Anyway, I had two lectures and a lab session today. The first lecture was about Physics! Gosh! I’ve left Physics for so long and I hardly remember the formula. I even hesitate on what formula for density is. Haha.. Come on. It’s just density and I nearly forgot? Bad Mira, bad! Ask me something more challenging and I’m completely sure that I will just stare at you with blank eyes. Haha.. Then, I had Histology. The lecturer was so cute today. Haha.. He made some stupid joke that I couldn’t catch what he was trying to deliver but he was still cute though. Haha.. Then, after lunch break, I had Physiology lab session. I was one of the subjects for one of the experiments. My blood pressure was measured for countless of times (nah, just kidding! Perhaps 10 times I think) and my arm ached so much. There was one time my arm became cyanotic. *gasps*

I have nothing interesting to blog actually. I just feel like blogging. Coz I do love blogging. Lol~ It’s the same boring post each time.

Seriously, nowadays I find it very hard to express myself through blogging. I dunno why though. Why do I always feel insecure on things that I want to write here? Looking back those years, I was able to fully express whatever I feel like expressing. I started blogging somewhere around late 2003. Yes, that was ages ago. I became active when SPM was nearing actually. I couldn’t believe myself either that I spent so much time on blogging and that’s not all. I even spent most of time in front of the computer designing layouts and making graphics instead of concentrating more on my study. Gaaahhh.. Wow, now only I realised why my mum nagged too much on how I spent my time back then. Lol~ I think I was a better blogger back then. I always had something to share with others. Not like now. You see, my recent posts are all crappy. I had so many visitors and I think my photoshop skills were even better. My first website wasn’t a personal blog actually. It was a fansite. Emma Watson fansite to be exact. I was so obsessed with Harry Potter and I thought Emma was pretty. She’s still pretty though. Even prettier nowadays. It was quite a success I think although the fansite wasn’t on a domain. I was invited to be hosted on Dreams-Garden.com. Now, if you ever heard of dreams-garden.com/~magicalemma, I was the owner! Lol~ Then, I had to close the site after almost a year since my host was closing her site as well. I didn’t bother to find another host because I lost most of my files. I wasn’t notified about the closing.

After that, I started to blog. I love blogging. But recently, I have nothing much to say online. I mean even if I do, I don’t feel comfortable to post them. Then, after SPM, I opened up another fansite. It was about one of the Simple Plan members, Sebastien Lefebvre. Guess what? It was on a domain! It was my first domain ever and I bought it myself including the webspace. Ever came across with Seb-Lefebvre.net? It was the only domain on Sebastien fansite and I was very proud of it. It was a BIG success as I had more visitors than I did when I had an Emma fansite. As time went by, I didn’t have time to maintain the fansite so I just abandoned the site till the domain expired. Gaaahhh.. After all the hard work, they all just went down the drain. So yea, it’s a looonnnngggg journey! Lol~ And here I am, being loyal to Silenteve.net for almost 2 years. I know I know.. I don’t feel like anyone would read this very random post of mine. Gaaahhh.. Jakarta is waiting for me already. 2 more days left. I’m so not waiting for flight no. AK954. I don’t wanna fly back to Jakarta! Can I just stay here, pretty please?

I’m home bebeh! Lol~ It’s always been good to be back home. The last exam on 9th January marked the end of the Muscuoloskeletal Module. The exam was overall okay I guess. Not as dreadful as the module before. Although the amount of stuff that we had to learn was… astronomical! There were just so much stuff and I felt like my brain was going to explode. Lol~ Anatomy was tough.. We had to memorise the muscles and bones from head to toe (well, not all of them anyway but still, there were so much!). So yea, the anatomy lab exam was okay after all even tough I wasn’t so sure with my answers. Bones were easy but the muscles? Heck. By the time I tried to recall the name of the muscle, the bell rang, indicating I need to go to the next station. Blaahhh.. But then again, I didn’t feel much pressure even though I wasn’t so sure with what I wrote. Haha.. Most probably because I thought too much on going back to Malaysia after I’m done with all the exams. Lol~ So, here I am. Home sweet home bebeh! Hehe..

I just realise that this is my first post ever in year 2008! Happy New Year everyone! Better late than never aye. I must get used to writing 2008 from now on. Hehe.. About new year resolution.. Seriously, I never bother to make any all this while. Even if I do, I don’t bother to accomplish them all. Lol~ Well, maybe I need to save more money this year since I had spent more than RM 1000 for the past few months each. Yes, you read it right.. Each! The thing is, I don’t know why I spent so much when I don’t actually see stuff that I bought. My money just… POOF! Out of my sight!! Lol~ I need to record everytime I spend my money. Yep, that’s it. I just made my new year resolution. I gotta save some money! Hehe..

Well.. That’s all. I wanna watch TV!! I’ve been living in Jakarta without TV all this while. It’s been 1 and a half year already! Don’t believe it? You better do! Lol~ Bye!
