I just had my first summative exam for Respiratory Module. How was it? I felt like crumpling the exam paper and then throwing it away. 
It was the toughest paper that I’ve been through so far. I know, I’ve been saying this over and over again right after every freaking exam that I took but I’m having this weird feeling this time. 
I currently have no mood to blog so I’m just gonna summarize what I wanted to say:
- The exam paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions.
- The allocated time to answer all 100 freaking questions is 100 minutes
- Meaning, I only had 1 minute to read the question, understand it, think about the answer and write it down on the answer sheet
- Is that even possible? I mean, hello?? I’m not Albert Einstein okay. My brain is meant for normal speed of working.
- Some of the questions are way too long that it’s impossible to answer all of them in 1 minute. Some more, there were also case-based questions. Grrr..
- Initially, we were told that we’re gonna have 120 minutes to answer all the questions but apparently, there was some kind of misunderstanding so we were told that it was only 100 minutes instead. They should have told us earlier because I was wasting my time on the first few questions. I mean, I could always skip the question that I don’t know and then only come back to that particular question at a later time. Pffftt.. My fault, I guess.
- When we were reminded that only 30 minutes left, I was still struggling with half of the paper.
- I was panic like hell.
- I couldn’t even think. What I did was forcing my brain to work at a higher speed. As high as I can never imagine. Pffftt..
- Good news. I managed to answer all of them in time.
- Bad news. What the hell was I doing back then? Did I just answer all the questions blindly without thinking? Pfffttt.. I’m so dead. DEAD. DEAD.
Gosh. Please, pretty please. Let me pass this module. I so wanna go back home. 
(home = Malaysia) No remedial for everybody. Please oh please!
Ps. I’m so down. Plus this big headache right now, I can’t think!
Pps. This isn’t the end. I still have 4 more papers to go. Shoot!
Ppps. I was and still am sick. Currently on medication. Heck, why do I always have to be sick when exams are coming??

Yeah..
Moral of the story: DO NOT involve in medical field unless you’re really passionate about it.
As for me, I’m not so sure myself. Haha.. Nah, I do love learning about the medical stuff.
It’s just that the exams are driving me nuts! 
this is why I did not take up any related-medical courses. *bangs my head*

Aww that sucks. I don’t get it though. I mean how can your brain solve a question in one minute? It’s the same time allocation here for A’Levels MCQ. 60 questions to be completed in 60 minutes. Sadly, I’m so air headed I finish all sixty in less than half an hour. =/ I’m sure you did great love. Don’t worry about it. I hope you feel better soon as well. =)

Shen: Exactly. That’s my point! The weren’t easy questions. Sometimes they tend to make questions that I can’t even understand. So, I have to repeat reading the questions again.
100 questions are a lot. It was really hard to fully concentrate on answering the questions since all I’ve been thinking about is how am I gonna answer all of them in time. Pfft. And whoa! Are you kidding me? Less than 30 secs for 1 question! *applause*

Good luck on the rest of your papers. Hopefully they’ll get better. At least you had multiple choice so there’s some hope of getting some right.
I know how it feels not to be in top shape either. I always have to pee during my big exams.
Panic doesn’t help the bladder.

That’s a good thing about MCQ. But then again, the chance of getting some wrong is much higher, I think? Since there are 5 options and only one of them is the answer. 
LOL. This is why I always go to the toilet first right before the exam is about to start.
