Year 3

I’m back to Jakarta. I intended to do some posting before leaving Malaysia but I just couldn’t care less to be bothered. Haha. I couldn’t believe my 6 weeks of holidays are finally over. It’s over!! I didn’t feel like going back to Jakarta. I wanted to stay longer in Malaysia and if possible, I wouldn’t want to come here ever again. I’ve never been away from my family before. That’s why I never like the idea of going to boarding school!

Oh well. There’s no turning back. I still need to complete another 4 years of study abroad. Wish me luck! By the way, I’m officially a 3rd year medical student! Hoho.. Still 2 years away from my clinical practice. (It could have been a year if only I don’t have to do research in different uni of different continent. )

Oh well. Enough with the craps. Anyway, wishing all muslims Happy Fasting!
Oh, this is what I had for the breakfasting..

Rendang for buka puasa!
Beef rendang made by my mom and I cooked the cabbage!

I brought the rendang from Malaysia anyway. My mom’s not here. I wish she is. Together with my dad and my sisters!!!

Yep2.. Totally. And my mom made the best beef rendang ever. But the one in the pic is already dried up as I’ve heated it for quite a lot of times already.

I can’t imagine being away from my parents hence the thought of boarding school never crossed my mind. I’m really happy to be going to school not to far from where I live. =) Oh wow, 4 more years? I’m glad I didn’t decide to go into the medical field. I have 3 - 4 more years left for my degree. I guess we’re in the same boat. I’m sure this year will go by quickly and soon you’ll be with the family again. The thoughts and memories of your time spent with them will keep you on the go. Just remember the good times.

Happy Fasting love. The meal looks delicious.

Me too! But somehow, along the journey of life, we still have to be apart from our family. I just need to adapt to that I guess. Aww.. you’re so lucky! I just wish I don’t have to study abroad. Whatever it is, life must go on.

Thanks honey! I hope the time does go by soon.

Oohoo.. I like beef rendang! Yeps, it’s really sad being away from one’s own family.. Eventhough I’m not that far from home, sometimes I can feel the presence of loneliness especially when I think of them break fasting together.

Yay! Me, likey likey! LOL.
Can’t wait for raya! *imagining the sweet aroma from my mom’s rendang*
Yeah, I can feel you, really. I always break fast all alone by myself. I cook alone, I break fast alone, I sahur alone. It’s as pathetic as it sounds.

Actually, I practically do everything alone.
    Heh.
